I could not recommend Bert Jewellery enough!!!. I was that typical male when it came to looking for an engagement ring, I thought I knew what I was looking for but in reality I had no clue. It’s a big thing and a lot of trust to engage the services of a jeweller via email and phone to design and make an engagement ring. I couldn’t have had a better experience, dealing with Sian from Bert Jewellery.
From initial concept and budget discussions, stone sourcing from her extensive suppliers, viewing various stone options, design process and through to the final product, I was kept informed and reassured that everything was heading in the right direction, arriving on time and at the price initially discussed. Throughout the design refinement I was involved with decision making, and felt like more than “just a customer”, but a part of the design process, which was important to me.
When the ring arrived, and seeing it in person, it was even better than I had hoped, and my (now) fiancé absolutely loves it! We can't thank Sian enough for her patience through the process, continual communication and of course for such a beautiful piece! She is truly talented and a pleasure to deal with!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bert Jewellery. I reached out to them after viewing one of their rings on instagram. I thought it would be a shot in the dark requesting a ring from a jeweler in Australia when I myself was in the USA. However, to my surprise Sian was quick to respond every time I contacted her and made it happen for me! She had such a way of easing my mind through the entire ring making progress and paid the utmost attention to every detail. The ring turned out better than I ever could have imagined it to be and my fiancé is head over heels in love with it (and now wants her wedding band from them too!) as is everyone else that has seen it. I had previous seen Bert Jewellery’s work on Instagram and when I starting thinking about proposing to my girlfriend I began following Bert. I was instantly drawn to the style of the rings, the ethos of the company and what felt like a laid back flair for life the company portrayed.
When I was ready I got in contact with Sian from Bert Jewellery, I explain I had my girlfriend’s Grandma’s ring and I would love for it to be remade into something more modern, special and containing the flair I had seen in other rings Sian had made.

The development felt personal and engaging, I always felt involved in every step of the design and build of the ring. The finished ring exceeded my expectations, it is truly stunning, unique and perfect. My now fiancé loved it and feels it is the most beautiful ring she has ever seen. I love the little curve that cradles the bottom diamond, and I can't get enough of the ruby's changing colours. I was referred to Sian by word of mouth and couldn't have been happier with the experience. What I really liked was her patience with the process and my many questions. I didn't feel as though she was taking advantage of me like I had experienced in many jewelry stores. She was also great at discussing the options and choices that had to be made.
Still, doing something like this was a little nerve wracking – you're paying a decent amount of money for something that you have a pretty good, but not concrete, understanding of how it will look. And, then you have to hope that your partner likes it! Sian made that process feel so comfortable.

Sian was amazingly helpful and super patient through the whole process. She simplified all the things to consider when selecting the diamond and clarified some misconceptions that exist.
